As a New York City Based Fashion Portrait Artist, Erica Holuboff uses her surroundings for inspiration. Her work revolves around the old school and underground hip hop community. Her work focuses on color and facial features as they relate to the culture portrayed. Graffiti and tattoos play an important role in her inspiration.

In her body of work, she combines paint with found objects. She loves to combine subjects that would not normally be found together. Without the need for coloring skin tone, she believes that any race or religion can be a part of any social culture. Erica also believes that anything can be beautiful. Creating irony and bringing different subjects together, proves this to be true.
